It was a bucket checklist journey for Shrone Van Loon and his household, to take their new boat up the Mackenzie River to fulfill up with household — and the journey was positively eventful, with mechanical challenges and close by wildfires.  The journey from their dwelling in Tsiigehtchic, N.W.T., took eight hours to get to Fort Good Hope, N.W.T., the place they met up with Van Loon’s brothers and their households.
